CARING FOR MYSELF IS NOT SELF-INDULGENCE, IT IS SELF-PRESERVATION AND THAT IS AN ACT OF POLITICAL WARFARE.
— AUDRE LORDE

With a background trained in the arts; acting and directing I began my journey with mindful movement and yoga/meditation practices after discovering the transformation it held with my relationship with my body and mind.

The ancient practices and techniques of yoga, breathwork & meditation have been guiding me as tools to return to the wisdom of my body and mind connection and letting it ripple out to others as I began my passion serving others to develop a deeper connection to their inner awareness. I experienced the radical positive change a regular practice of yoga can have on one's mental health.

I am a RYT Certified YOGA ALLIANCE; 200 hours trained in Vinyasa yoga at One Down Dog in Silverlake CA.

Certified with 60hrs in Social Emotional Arts Healing; music/sound, theatre, visual arts and dance through UCLA Healing Program.

Multiple movement workshops completed within Tamalpa Institute, training and empowering the next generation of leaders to utilize expressive arts and dance as a catalyst for change and transformation.

Roots in activism I began teaching theatre and movement workshops with various non profits that work closely with diverse populations in marginalized communities throughout LA and on Skid Row; The Strindberg Labratory. Specializing in working with formally incarcerated individuals, the youth & individuals with neurodiversity challenges; autism.

I am currently working along side Dance and Dialogue a non profit facilitating workshops with the youth in South LA using Social Emotional Learning; dance & counsel circles, mindful movement, meditation & breathing practices, writing & theatre as an artist outlet to help promote personal and community change.

I am also working with Prison Yoga and Meditation. Facilitating and teaching yoga and breathwork inside federal and state prisons throughout LA county and other institutions in CA. Creating a container of non-violent communication and trauma informed teachings.
